Forest Gypsy

This girl started months ago as one head of many during a sculpting session, then started to come together at the Adirondack Museum during the Fabric and Fiber Arts Fest.  I made her body there under the steady gaze of Molly, the life size draft horse that stood next to my display area.   Of course who I thought she was going to be doesn't exactly match who she became but that is the magic and mystery of travelling this road of creation.

I think she is happier without her hat as her hair, courtesy an Icelandic sheep in Vermont, can be wild and free.
